Terms of Use
Terms governing use of the public website and client portal.
1. Website purpose
This website provides information about Abdullah Al-Shethri Law Firm & Legal Consultations and electronic tools for inquiries, consultation requests, case-review requests and existing-client services.
2. General information, not legal advice
Public website content is general information and does not constitute legal advice for a particular matter. Legal conclusions depend on the specific facts, documents, applicable rules and circumstances.
3. No automatic lawyer-client relationship
Sending a form, creating a portal account, booking a requested appointment or exchanging preliminary messages does not by itself create a lawyer-client relationship or obligate the Firm to accept a matter. Representation begins only after the Firm accepts the engagement and the applicable professional and fee arrangements are agreed.
4. Appointments and service requests
Appointment and case-review submissions are requests subject to availability, conflicts checks and confirmation by the Firm. The Firm may request further information before confirming a consultation or accepting an engagement.
5. Client portal
Portal access is personal to the authorized user. Users must protect their login credentials and must not attempt to access another client’s information or use the system in a way that interferes with security or availability. The Firm may suspend access where reasonably required for security, account status or the end of the professional relationship.
6. Documents and communications
Users are responsible for ensuring that information and documents they submit are accurate to the best of their knowledge and that they are authorized to provide them. Highly sensitive information should be submitted only through the channels requested by the Firm.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website design, branding and original written content belong to the Firm or are used under appropriate rights. Content may not be reproduced for commercial use without permission.
8. Availability and external services
The Firm aims to keep the website and portal available and secure but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of internet, hosting, email, SMS or other third-party services. Temporary maintenance or service interruptions may occur.
9. Links
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. The Firm does not control third-party websites and their own terms and privacy practices apply.
10. Applicable law
These website terms are interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any engagement letter or professional agreement takes precedence for the legal services covered by that agreement.
11. Language
The website is provided in Arabic and English. If a material inconsistency arises between the two website versions, the Arabic version prevails unless a specific professional agreement states otherwise.
